John Shofi's practice includes professional malpractice involving accountants, engineers, architects, attorneys, and physicians; products liability litigation (including tort and contract litigation); as well as construction related litigation. He has also practiced multi-district and other complex federal litigation. John's federal court practice has involved responsibility as coordinating attorney as well as primary trial counsel. He has the highest rating for a lawyer, “AV”, that is given by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

John has served as a member of The Florida Bar's Legislature Committee, a member of the Revision Committee for Products Liability Legislation, and is a former Charter Director of Florida Lawyers’ Indemnity Group. John serves as a mediator and arbitrator in both state and federal courts, and lectures on medical and legal malpractice.

His professional memberships include: American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Florida Bar Association, and Hillsborough County Bar Association.

John is admitted to practice in United States Supreme Court, United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and all Florida state courts. He received his B.A. Degree from the University of South Florida and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. John was a post-graduate assistant in legal research and writing at the University of Florida Law School before commencing private practice in civil litigation. He is a former partner of the law firm of Shofi, Hennen & Gramovot, P.A.
