Fees & Costs

You are entitled to know at your first visit an estimate of what your attorneys fees and other costs will be.

Certain services, such as divorce, may have a minimum fee. This means that unless excess time is expended on your case, the minimum fee will be the flat fee.

If your case is contested or is complicated, fees will be charged on a time-spent basis. You will be provided an itemized statement showing all services performed and time spent on your case. Statements will be provided on either a monthly basis or at the end of your case.

A retainer (down payment) will usually be required in order to begin your matter.

In addition to legal fees, there may be various charges which must be paid on your behalf. For example, court filing fees, process server fees, title searches, and so forth. We will try to provide an estimate of these costs for you.
