Meet Our Team
Mr. Fenster is a pioneer in the area of nursing home and assisted living facility litigation. He is one of the state's most experienced trial attorneys in this field, and one of a few select to argue such a case before the Florida Supreme Court. Mr. Fenster has been very active in promoting the rights of the wrongfully injured, by holding professional memberships in several prestigious professional organizations including the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He has served as the President of the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association and Vice Chairman of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee. He has also served as Dean of the People's law School at Broward Community College, which strives to educate consumers on their legal rights. Mr. Fenster brings a depth of experience, and a desire to impart knowledge upon consumers and peers alike. He has successfully litigated some of the nation's most challenging personal injury cases, and has received an "A.V." rating by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
More than tenure in the highest court sets Mr. Faerber apart from his peers. He is a Board Certified Trial Lawyer, a title earned by only the most skilled and educated litigators. Mr. Faerber personifies the changing face of Florida. He strives to leave a lasting impression on the legal profession and tirelessly lobbies the Legislature on behalf of consumer rights. He has been appointed to serve on the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Fourth District Court of Appeal, and is the past Chairman of the Broward County Judicial Nominating Committee. Mr. Faerber also serves on the Florida Bar Rules of Civil Procedure Committee and is Secretary and former Treasurer of the Ft. Lauderdale Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Faerber is a frequent lecturer on trial strategy, medical malpractice, collateral source claims, and other insurance law issues for The Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He is affiliated with such professional associations as the American Arbitration Association Panel of Arbitrators and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He, has received an "A.V." rating by Martindale-Hubbell law Directory, and has been certified by the National Board of Trial Advocates.
With more than 20 years as a member of the Fenster & Faerber legal team, Stacie Cohen brings a dynamic character to the firm's line-up of litigators. During her tenure at the firm, Ms. Cohen has demonstrated her talents as a "hands-on" attorney, becoming intricately involved in many of the cases. Ms. Cohen has become an expert in the areas of medical malpractice and personal injury, as well as insurance disputes and appellate issues. Beyond litigation, Ms. Cohen endeavors to leave her mark on the legal profession. She drafts legislation on behalf of individual victims' rights, and is an active member of the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. In addition to her membership, Ms. Cohen has served on the Insurance Task Force for the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers in an effort to help draft laws designed to protect Florida's consumers.
Mr. Sobol joined Fenster & Faerber as a law clerk after his second year of law school and officially as an attorney in 2003. He feels that the type of work which Fenster and Faerber performs on a daily basis goes unmatched, and for that reason has continued his transition into the legal field as an associate which is proud to be practicing with this firm. Mr. Sobol is admitted to practice in Florida state and federal court,
and in his young career has already established himself as a member of
